Wandsworth Council

This project is led by the Spatial Planning and Design team in the Place Division, in collaboration with a range of departments including Economic Development, Arts and Culture and Transport. The Council are working collaboratively with other partners including Greater London Authority (GLA) and Transport for London (TfL). These partners are part of a working group.

Weston Williamson + Partners

WW+P have been appointed to lead the project by Wandsworth Council. The wider team includes Jas Bhalla Architects, transport support from Arup, social value support from Greengage Consultants, and heritage advice from Alan Baxter.

Network Rail

As the owner and manager of most of the UK’s rail infrastructure, Network Rail are responsible for operating Clapham Junction, Britain’s busiest interchange station. Network Rail are part of a project working group and represented on the project board.

ShopStop Shopping Mall

Linking St John’s Hill to the main Clapham Junction station entrance, the owners of the ShopStop Mall work closely with Network Rail and are an integral part of any future changes to the station or wider area. The owners of the ShopStop Mall, DTZI, are part of a project working group and represented on the project board.

Greater London Authority

The GLA have responsibility for strategic planning, housing and transport decisions across London. They are represented on the working group and project board to share learning from similar projects across the city and to make sure any future plans for Clapham Junction work in connection with the London Plan.

Transport for London

TfL is the local government body that oversees most of the transport networks in London, including buses, tubes and the overground. As Clapham Junction is a key transport hub for the South East, representatives from TfL play an important role on the project working group and project board.
